Oh the places I’ll go

No I am not travelling the world just yet, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going anywhere.

As the second month of the year draws to a close I start to think about everything I’ve been focused on since the year began and what is still yet to come, and I feel pretty good about it all.

I’ve recently launched my children’s brand “Little Wo/anderers” and I’ve been frantically thinking of new ways to promote the products and where to place them.

Thankfully I’ve received a lot of help and advice from close friends who know the market.

I now move forward with the hopes to place my products in stores across Gauteng, as many as I can handle.

Just yesterday I tried to gauge whether what I’ve spent my time doing the last few months has actually been fulfilling or not. A resounding YES! I am doing things I’ve always wanted to do! Things I had always been too scared to do. I’m designing, I’m creating and I’m selling it! I’m not making millions or breaking my savings account (yet haha) but I’m doing what I want to do.

In the next few months we’ll be revamping my rather rundown art studio and I’ll be starting Little Wo/anderers – Kids Art Classes – from home! And for that I am jumping out of my skin with excitement.

These are the things I want to spend my time doing.

I had started my 2017 with the idea of becoming a great Interior Decorator. And while I still love interior décor and design, I have found that what I find most fulfilling is art and design for kids.

It’s funny how things happen and how even when things don’t go to plan as you had imagined, they still seem to work out better than you could have imagined.

I don’t know exactly what the next few months hold but I know it’ll be what’s right at the right time. Oh the places I’ll go.
